Your brain is an organ designed to ensure your survival and help you adapt in an ever-changing world. It runs the show, managing everything from basic bodily functions to complex cognitive processes. It helps you solve problems, adapt to new situations, learn, interact with the world around you, and strive for growth, ultimately boosting your overall well-being.
The brain is made for analyzing situations, finding solutions, making decisions, planning your day, solving minor problems, thinking creatively, and understanding the emotions and behavior of others. It actively participates in learning, exploring new things, acquiring new skills, and storing information. Your brain processes both your conscious thoughts and the data from your subconscious, creating a unique reality where past experiences, current emotions, and hidden desires intertwine, shaping your decisions, actions, and perception of the world.
Your brain isn’t a refrigerator where you can just store information like groceries and pull it out when needed. It’s more like a muscle that needs constant exercise. If you want your brain to function at its best, you have to challenge it regularly. And no, that doesn’t mean endlessly memorizing phone numbers or mindlessly devouring books. Your brain needs a good mental workout—puzzles, riddles, challenges, and dynamic thinking. To those of you who enjoy solving crosswords, word searches, navigating mazes, or even coloring—you have my respect. It’s incredibly beneficial for your brain.
Since ancient times, humans have evolved precisely because they actively used their brains. We thought, adapted, and sought new solutions. But today, in an era where knowledge and information seem readily available, our brains tend to relax. However, taking the path of least resistance isn’t always beneficial.
Passive absorption leads to stagnation, and stagnation is the enemy of evolution. So, to avoid becoming part of the herd, we need to challenge ourselves and use our brains more dynamically constantly: learn new professions, technologies, hobbies, study foreign languages, or run your blog where you share not just piсегres but also exciting thoughts.
A brain working in dynamic mode is capable of amazing things. Think of those moments when you suddenly found a way out of a tricky situation or came up with great ideas. That’s your brain delivering the correct information at the right time. Creativity is a result of dynamic thinking. If you want to unlock new facets of your potential and reach new heights in any endeavor, dynamic brain use is an absolute must.
You need to use your brain more dynamically, not just to exist but to live fully, grow, create, connect, and experience the richness of life. Actively using your brain isn’t just a nice-to-have; it’s essential if you want to stay in harmony with yourself and the world and live a long, active, and enjoyable life without the threat of Alzheimer’s or dementia.
